This online exhibition brings together 103 works of art and pieces of the MHC's collection, from Thomas Ender and Debret's watercolors to blueprints of Av. Central's opening, and objects of day-to-day Rio's resident.
Its goal is to share with the public some of the social and cultural life of Rio de Janeiro, from one of the museum's own collection selection. Information about each piece can be found on the label below it, but you can go beyond these and find artists’ biography, curiosities about customs and the development of the city throughout history.
Note: the dimensions of the catalog parts are arranged as follows: height x length x width.
